need help with identification

My spring garden bottomed out with the hot, dry weather and there's not much color left. This hearty thing has sprung up and initially looked like a tree. It has heart-shaped leaves and pretty blossoms at the top.  Can anyone identify it for me. please?

I found that it is called Himalayan Honeysuckle.

At first glance, wondered if it is a variety of begonia... but once flower out, am less certain; though to be honest, I'd be wary of anything which 'just sprung up', 'cos it almost certainly will take hold! There is a thing called the four o'clock plant (Mirabilis jalapa) which this also vaguely resembles and, whilst very pretty and pleasant scent, is very invasive if not controlled. I had lots of them... definitely attractive though! YAM xx

I am not good at identifying plants, so I asked hubby. His unhelpful answer, "It's a plant". Sorry.

They probably don't grow in NZ and the leaves are different but the flower looks similar to what I have in my garden, flocknäva, Geranium macrorrhizum. Photo: https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1468/25411521286_bd9997859e_b.jpg

Wish I could help but I've not seen a plant like this here. It's very pretty though.
